The UKNHCP 2007 conference took place over three days at Rockley Farm in Devon. Over 40 people attended from places as far away as the Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands.
The conference offered the opportunity for both students and qualified practitioners to continue their education and get to know other hoof care providers from around the UK and the world.
A clinic given by Ben Hart titled ‘Horse Handling and Behaviour’ offered a fascinating insight into how the horse’s mind works. Ben showed how horse psychology could be used to build shaping plans to help practitioners, horses and owners build the skills needed to get horses to lift their feet with confidence.
