The UKNHCP offer two strands of training designed to develop the skills of both non-farriers and farriers. Both strands offer intensive, hands on, practical learning through low student to instructor ratio. We feel this intensive aspect to our programme offers our students the best approach to learning the skills and knowledge to become proficient hoof care practitioners.
The training strand for non-farriers is for those who wish to become professional hoof care practitioners, previous experience with horses is essential should you wish to apply. The closing date for applications for the next intake of students is 7th May 2008.
The training strand for UK registered farriers is an individualised course designed to teach the skills and knowledge needed to enable farriers to offer Natural Hoof Care to their clients.
