You will be required to attend three separate one day mentorships with selected UKNHCP instructors. These days do not have to be consecutive and will be with different instructors. The mentorships will involve you observing and trimming a variety of barefoot horses.
These days will help you develop an understanding of;
• the application of natural trimming methods on individual hooves.
• the holistic and analytical nature of hoof care.
• the relationship between diet and performance on bare hooves.
• the relationship between environment and performance on bare hooves.
• the role of hoof boots in protecting and developing bare hooves.
• transitioning hooves for successful barefoot performance.
