You will be required to spend a four to six month period building a portfolio of barefoot case studies. This portfolio will require you to demonstrate a growing understanding of natural hoof care and its application in your everyday work. The portfolio will be used as part of your final assessment in Step 6 and should continue to be added to up to your final assessment.
The portfolio will help you;
• show how you have applied natural trimming methods to the horses in your care.
• show how you have used holistic and analytical methods to develop hooves over time.
• show how you have transitioned a selection of horses hooves for successful barefoot performance.
