You will be required to attend a one day clinic on veterinary aspects related to natural hoof care. This clinic is designed to help practitioners advise clients in a correct and professional manner. Non-farrier students may take this clinic at any time during their training. Certified practitioners may use this as continuing professional development.
Through this clinic you will develop a basic understanding of;
• diseases of the horn and horn forming dermis.
• diseases of the soft tissue.
• peripheral cushings and cushings disease in horses.
• possible future developments in laminitis.
